🔥 What is Pitta?
- In Ayurveda, Pitta is a combination of fire and water responsible for metabolism, digestion, body temperature, and mental clarity
- Excess Pitta, especially in summer, can lead to overheating, irritability, inflammation, acid reflux, and skin issues.
🔄 Principle of Balance:
- Ayurveda teaches: “Like increases like, opposites bring balance”
- Therefore, to counterbalance hot Pitta, we choose cooling, soothing, and moistening foods and habits.
🥗 Recommended Foods and Drinks:
- Cooling vegetables: cucumber, zucchini, celery, leafy greens

- Sweet fruits: watermelon, melon, pear, mango
- Grains: rice, oats, barley
